Bob and Suzanne Schwartzman's love of photography has taken them around the world taking fine art photographic images. They have been to Asia, India, Europe,Russia and Scandinavia.
Bob and Suzanne have both been involved in photography for 40 years. Bob who was an Industrial Arts Teacher taught all phases of photography at John Bowne High School in Flushing, New York for 23 years. Bob has three loves, photography, sailing and softball. At a boat show in NY in 1968 he saw B/W images of sailboats under sail by Stanley Rosenfeld. This was the beginning of his love for B/W photography. Bob purchased an enlarger, SLR camera, chemicals, paper, black & white film and figured that was all that was needed to make images like Stanley Rosenfeld. He is still trying to capture those kinds of images after 40 years.
Bob's love of the darkroom was brought to a halt 14 years ago when he developed an allergy to the photographic chemicals. At that time he was able to find someone to teach him Adobe Photoshop. He was able to transfer his skills and expertise to the digital darkroom. He has been active in numerous camera clubs and now teaches Adobe Photoshop Basic and Advanced at Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach, Florida. Bob works in color, black and white, and his favorite infrared photography.
